Antrobus Electrical has over 18 years’ experience of creating, updating and renovating electrical systems in both commercial and industrial settings.
A family-run business, Antrobus Electrical was established in Leyland in 2019, relocating to Southport in 2021. We started out by primarily offering domestic electrical services, specialising in full and partial rewires, as well as replacing consumer units. We are still happy to offer domestic services to residential clients.
As our business grew, we began to branch out, taking on more commercial and industrial work, and developing a specialism in electrical vehicle charging point installations.
As a result, Antrobus Electrical now specialise in a range of commercial electrical services, which we provide to businesses throughout the North West.

Meet The Team
Phil Antrobus
Technical Director & Approved Electrician
Phil qualified as an electrician in 2004. Prior to establishing Antrobus Electrical in 2019, Phil worked as an electrical contractor for 15 years, mostly within commercial and industrial environments. During this time, he also gained a wealth of experience of domestic electrical work.
He now has over 16 years’ experience as an electrician, specialising in in commercial electrical installations.
Phil has worked on electrical installations in numerous offices, factories, schools, hospitals and government buildings. Not to mention countless residential electrical installations, including many large scale new-build projects.
Phil has completed his 18th edition course, and, more recently, a course for the installation and maintenance of Electrical Vehicle Charging points. Phil is now an approved ROLEC installer, and Antrobus Electrical has also been approved to offer OLEV funding.
In his spare time, Phil is a keen rugby player and cyclist, and enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
Kim Antrobus
Managing Director
Kim joined Phil to assist with the running of the company in November 2019. She does the vast majority of the work behind the scenes, as well as building the business brand and visibility as a Business Development Manager.
In March 2020, Kim was appointed as the Managing Director of Antrobus Electrical, and has kept the cogs of the company turning smoothly ever since.
Prior to joining Antrobus Electrical, Kim worked as a paralegal for over 12 years following completion of her law degree in 2004.
A woman of many talents, Kim is also a professional vocalist, who enjoys theatre, burlesque and cabaret in her spare time.
Anna Foxx
Office Manager
Anna has recently joined the team to support the day-to-day admin as Phil and Kim grow the business. From scheduling site visits and sending quotations, through to booking in jobs and invoicing happy clients, Anna will be your point of contact to keep things moving along.
She likes getting stuck into a good spreadsheet and having the right details in the right place at the right time. She’s also a Salsa dance teacher and a lover of cake!
